The Denturism Study Programs are not accredited by the International Federation of Denturists. They are accredidated by other education accreditation authorities.
On September 28th 2020, the IFD held its 2020 Annual General Meeting online.
A first for the IFD, the meeting was a success where every item of the agenda was covered, discussed and led to further work to be accomplished.
On November 9th 2019,at the Gala Event held for the 40th anniversary of the Erikoishammasteknikkoliitto Ry Union of Denturists in Finland, http://www.erikoishammasteknikkoliitto.fi/, in Helsinki, Finland, Mr. Ilkka Garaisi was inducted into the Brotherhood of Sterkenburgers.
